Juice Beauty Cleansing Milk Review

DSC_0057 Alright, confession time. Even though I am making a huge effort to switch my products to cleaner options there are a few products that I have just been holding out on. Face wash is one of them. I am absolutely addicted to my Cerave Creamy Facial Cleanser. It doesn’t sting my eyes, it takes my makeup off, it has ZERO fragrance and it doesn’t dry my skin out. BUT it’s obviously not a clean beauty option…

I finally decided to bite the bullet and try to switch my facial cleanser to a more natural option. I wanted something really mild and non-foaming. I decided to pick up the Juice Beauty Cleansing Milk. Here are the claims!

“This creamy formula deeply cleanses and removes makeup with organic neroli and grape seed oils, while soothing normal, aging, or sensitive skin with organic chamomile and calendula. A Daily Essential perfect for cleansing and removing makeup.”

This face wash is 6.75 oz and retails for $22.00. Definitely not cheap but not pull-your-hair-out expensive.

So, what are my thoughts? Eh…it’s good but it’s not game changing. Here is my complaint. It stings my eyes!! Don’t tell me you’ll take my makeup off and then when I try I feel like my eyes are going to swell shut. I don’t know, it’s a pet peeve.

Apart from the eye stinging it’s really good. It’s gentle (not on the eyes), it’s soothing and it does not dry out my skin. If I could use this on my eyes it would be perfect. It does have a slight smell but it’s a clean smell. It doesn’t bother me too much.

Sure, I could take my eye makeup off with a specific remover and then wash my face, but I’m lazy. I don’t wanna. I want something that will remove my makeup without blinding me. I’m very demanding what can I say.

Overall: I give this a 4/5. It’s really nice but I just wish it didn’t irritate my eyes quite so much. If you have eyes of steel then, you know what, use this for your eye makeup. Unfortunately, I can’t.

Will I repurchase: I don’t know, maybe…? It’s good, it’s just not awesome.

Do you have any recommendations for really gentle, green beauty, facial cleansers? If so, please PLEASE, let me know down in the comments!

I wish I could help. I oil cleanse and remove my mascara, then wash with Free by Blissoma, but it will sting if it gets in my eyes.
I’m looking forward to hearing if anyone has a recommendation for sting-free cleanser.

Have you tried Pacifica Beauty? They have cleansing wipes that remove makeup, and the wipes are good for cleaning makeup brushes as well. As for cleansers, both the kale detox and sea foam cleansers work well. I have sensitive skin and I have reacted well to all of their products. Everything they make smells delicious too.

I haven’t tried any of their skincare! I’ll definitely look into their cleansers! Thanks so much for your suggestion! It’s definitely hard to find skincare for sensitive skin.
