Honeybee Gardens South Beach Lipstick Look + Swatches

DSC_0083

Hello everyone! I have an amazing lipstick to review for you guys today! Honeybee Gardens Truly Natural Lipstick in South Beach. Honeybee Gardens describes this as a bright coral with red undertones. How perfect is this beautiful coral for summer?! Honeybee Gardens lipsticks are certified gluten free and vegan! They are full of organic sunflower oil, cocoa butter and sesame seed oil to help nourish your lips.

So, not only is this lipstick extremely gorgeous but it’s moisturizing! With one swipe of the bullet you get a beautiful, evenly pigmented, sheer wash of color. You can also really build this up for a big pop of color that lasts a long time without drying your lips out.

This lipstick has no shimmer or glitter but still gives a beautiful sheen to the lips. Most likely due to the nourishing oils! Honeybee Gardens kindly sent my this beautiful lipstick for consideration so I thought I would do swatches and a look for you guys! I was just really inspired by the beautiful color. I get so scared of coral lipsticks but this is just so wearable and so comfortable.

I also think it’s nice to see how a lip color plays off of your natural lip color. Lipsticks always look different on the lips than they do swatched!

I paired this lipstick with a very subtle bronze wing and a terra cotta color in the crease. I just think it made for a beautiful soft, everyday glam look. I felt so pretty and fresh! My fiancé loved the color as well! I am so used to wearing cool toned pinks and berries that the coral is a bit of a shock but it’s just absolutely lovely!

Overall: A beautiful formula and an even better color. I have no qualms with this lipstick whatsoever. Oh, have I mentioned it’s 12.99? Yeah. Maybe I should have led with that! I’m absolutely thrilled with this lipstick and I will definitely be looking into picking up a few of the other colors! Thoroughbred, South Beach and Masquerade are the new colors for Spring. How gorgeous is Masquerade?! That dark plumy purple, be still my heart!!!

If you are unsure which color to try or whether you will like the formula order a sample for $0.50!

Blogger Fail: Haha oh my gosh just to show you how uncool I am. I have a clicker for my camera but when I wanted to take a photo of me putting on the lipstick I had to use my foot to click the button. ‘Twas not cool my friends. On further reflection I could have just put my camera on a timer…10 points to Hufflepuff.

A huge thanks to Honeybee Gardens for sending me this beautiful lipstick! Although this product was sent to me for review I was not payed to write this review and I maintain full transparency on my blog! I am here for my readers and my reviews are always honest!

Thanks for this review. More people need to know about this lipstick! I picked up Seduction online from Target. I can’t usually wear reds but this one works really well with my fair, freckled skin. The pigment is spot-on and it lasts. And the price! All good.

Corals also tend to scare me as I know by experience that only a few of them are flattering on me, this shade is gorgeous though and it is so interesting to see how much it differs depending on the way you use it: the light swatch looks almost pink!

Right?! Corals can be so scary! It does almost look pink if you wear it lightly. I love when lipsticks are versatile! Thanks so much for reading!

Looks so beautiful on you, and what a lovely review! Such a fantastic job. Honestly, coral scares me too (and I created this shade!), but our makeup artist convinced me to try it…and now I love it! Totally brightens up my face. I love that you’re getting the word out about not being afraid to try new things.

Coral is one of my favourite colour for Spring&Summer and this one looks really pretty, also suits you so don’t be scared of corals 🙂 I’ve never used gluten free and vegan lipstick before, I wonder how different it is to the normal lipsticks.

Honestly they feel the same on the lips, and they perform the same. It’s just nice to know that the lipsticks are more natural and Eco friendly. It’s also nice that everyone can use them 🙂 thanks so much Ela!!
