Hello all! I have a little bonus post for you guys this week! I am reviewing the Green and Gorgeous Organics Dry Shampoo! I have heard so much about this dry shampoo so I was super excited to give it a try!
This is the little travel size in the Lavender and Bergamot scent. This is Vegan, Organic, Sulfate Free and Fragrance Free. This contains no Talc for those of you who are concerned about using Talc. Overall a very green, eco-friendly product!
This has a light and pleasant smell but I don’t find that it lingers in any way. Just don’t breathe in as you’re sprinkling this into your hair. I’m pretty sure I accidentally inhaled half the container…but that’s because I’m clumsy. The word ‘graceful’ does not appear in my vocabulary…
I usually wash my hair every other day because I typically don’t use dry shampoo. But, to test this out I allowed my hair to go without a wash for a few days. I just wanted to see how this builds on itself and what not. I have very fine hair but a lot of it. So, freshly washed I have tons of volume but I quickly lose that as my hair gets greasy. I like my dry shampoos to really lift my roots, reduce that greasy look all while not weighing my hair down.
To use this dry shampoo I just parted my hair and sprinkled this into the roots. I used my fingers to fluff everything up and voila. All done. I really like the way my hair looks with this dry shampoo immediately after I use it. It gives my hair a bit of texture while reducing any excess oils.
However, I do find that this doesn’t really last all day for me. I need to reapply during the day and by the end of the day my hair just feels a bit heavy. I honestly think that is due to how fine my hair is. If you have thicker hair I think this really would be perfect for you!
