Goodbeing Box Review

Recently Jacqueline, creator of the blog The Beauty Proof, did a giveaway on her Facebook page. She collaborated with goodbeing to give away one box to the lucky winner! And, I won! I haven’t won anything since I was in 2nd grade and I won an American Girl Doll at Bingo Night. It was clearly very memorable. Needless to say, I was very excited!

Goodbeing is a subscription service that curates beautiful boxes full of healthy beauty products and non-toxic cosmetics. It’s an amazing way to discover green brands if you are trying to transition your products (like I am!).

I was so happy to see that every box comes with little cards that explain what the product is and it’s value. I found this really helpful while I was looking through my box. Here’s what I got!

Orglamix Illume Enlighten Cream Luminizer – Let’s start with the most exciting product. None of this saving the best for last nonsense. This cream luminizer is absolutely gorgeous! Absolutely no glitter, just gorgeous shimmering sheen. The shade Illume is a slightly pinky, cool highlight. It can be built up or sheered out to your liking. It’s important to note that this does have coconut oil in it so if you tend to react to that I wouldn’t suggest it. I will definitely be checking out Orglamix!

Prim Botanicals The Body Oil – This oil is absolutely lovely! It smells divine and it’s extremely moisturizing! I will definitely enjoy using up this little sample!

Pangea Organics Lip Balm – I desperately needed a new lip balm and I’m so glad there was one included in this box! This smells of lavender and cardamom which seems like it would be odd but it’s actually extremely lovely and relaxing! This is larger than your average lip balm so it should last me quite a while!

American Provenance Solid Perfume in Pinups & Paramours – This is definitely a spring/summer scent. It smells orangey and tropical. It’s definitely not my preferred perfume scent but it will be great for summer! This is in a solid balm form so I just dab this on the insides of my wrists.

Me to We Rafiki Water Bracelet – These bracelets support clean water projects run by Free the Children. It’s a very cute little necklace/bracelet made of glass beads on a stretchy string. I will most likely be gifting this to a younger cousin because I rarely wear blue. It is lovely though!

Overall thoughts: this is a great box! I feel like some subscription boxes are really hit and miss but the reviews for goodbeing are consistently quite positive. I was super happy to try out this box! You can purchase the goodbeing box as a subscription package or month to month! Thanks again to The Beauty Proof and goodbeing for this amazing giveaway!
