The World of Facial Oils is a vast and monetarily dangerous place. Which do you choose? What’s the difference between the oils? What in goodness names does “cold pressed” mean?! So many questions! If you’re new to facial oils I highly recommend you check out Ko & Humble Beautifying Oils. They have a fantastic Oil Guide to help you choose exactly what your skin needs. They also explain what “cold pressed” means and the benefits that the oils retain by using this extraction method. Laura from Laura’s Natural Life has a great video review of these as well which I will link here. Here’s what I picked up.
Virgin Argan Oil: This is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for an everyday, moisturizing oil. It’s awesome to layer with a bit of lotion or use it alone if you aren’t feeling too dry. This is also really nice to mix with a foundation to add a bit of slip and dewiness to an otherwise drier foundation formula. Extremely hydrating, unscented and absolutely lovely to use. I’ve actually used this on my hair and nails as well and it works wonderfully.
Passion Fruit Seed Oil: This is perfect for those with oily, combination or acne prone skin. It’s extremely lightweight and sinks right in. High in Vitamin C and linoleic acid (fatty acid) it’s a fantastic option for mature skin. I grabbed this because when I break out I don’t want to add too many oils to my face but this I can continue to use even during my hormonal break outs. Very balancing. They actually have sources for all of their information and claims which I absolutely love!
All of Ko & Humble’s ingredients are organic, ethically sourced and not tested on animals. What more can you ask for from your skincare? Oh, did I mention they’re EXTREMELY affordable? And they ship from Amazon? I mean come on now.
I purchased all of these products with my own money and I am not being paid to write this review. I truly stand by these products.
