Over the weekend I decided it was time to shoot another makeup look for you guys. I sat down in front of my palettes and I had no idea what to do. So I decided to wing it…ha get it? Okay. Moving on.
As you can see I decided to create a purple smokey eye with a double wing. I think the double wing is a nice touch. It just adds a bit of drama to an otherwise pretty basic smokey eye.
This eyeshadow look is deceptively simple. Nude shadow all over the lid, matte brown in the crease, matte purple in the crease and then shimmery purple just everywhere ha. I used my Morphe 35D palette for this look along with my Paula’s Choice The Nude Mattes Palette.
I think the key to a double wing is to conceal in-between the wings, otherwise it can get a bit muddy. Drag a high coverage concealer underneath the top wing to sharpen it up then use that concealer as a guide for your lower wing. Simple.
I don’t have any contour, blush or highlight on. Oops. You guys forgive me right? I did add lashes though! And I found a way to get that House of Lashes Glue off of my eyelids! Coconut oil. Boom. Done. Glue demolished.
Let me know what you guys think and if you would wear something like this 🙂 Hope you are all having a lovely day!!
