Favorite Concealers

I may be high maintenance but I definitely have different concealers for different jobs. Some products work better for some things than others. I have thrown together a little list of my concealers that I reach for the most and what I use them for!

Rimmel Match Perfection Skin Tone Adapting Concealer in Fair 125 – This is my everyday under eye brightening concealer. This isn’t going to cover the bags that you developed during finals week but its great for diffusing the light for everyday wear. I like to bring this on the tops of my cheekbones if I want a subtle highlight without the shimmer.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer in Light – I like to use this if I want to create a very even toned under eye area. It really conceals darkness without being heavy. This also lasts really well under my eyes. I tend to rub my eyes and this lasts all day!

Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage in SC-2 – My palette is looking a little bit worse for wear but that’s just because I love it so much! I like to use this on “fresh” spots. Spots that may be a bit oozy…sorry. It just adheres to the spot and will not come off all day! You need so little of this that it will last a while! I like to apply it with a detailed liner brush.

Maybelline FaceStudio Master Conceal in Fair – This is the concealer I turn to to cover older spots. I have some dark spots from acne right where I place my contour. I like to use this to completely conceal dark spots so they don’t interfere with my contour. This has a liquidy consistency but it is very highly pigmented!

What are your favorite concealers? Let me know down in the comments! I am always looking for new concealers to try!

It’s really great and it lasts forever! It doesn’t emphasize any fine lines which I really appreciate! Thanks E!

This was such a great post as I’m constantly lacking in concealers and loved reading other people’s favourites. I really need to get my hands on that Maybelline Age Rewind concealers since dark circles are something I’m always dealing with x

Thanks Alina! It definitely helps! I was surprised at how much coverage it provided while still feeling so light!

Concealers are so hard for me. I have very drak/blue under eye circles so I need a strong/thicker concealer. I have been eyeing the Maybelline and Rimmel ones, are these more liquidy or more on the thick side?
    Thanks for sharing!

The Maybelline is extremely high pigment. And very yellow toned so it should cancel out a lot of the purple/blue in the under eye. The Rimmel is more of a brightener than anything else. It’s a good one to layer over a more high coverage concealer as it’s going to deflect light. Hope that helps 🙂

Ohh and the Age Rewind is pretty thin but it has nice coverage. I think for under eyes that’s the one I would go for if you’re looking to conceal.
