A lovely reader who is also the creator of the blog Blush and Kittens recently asked me to create a classic, simple smokey eye. A classic smokey eye is typically matte with an unstructured shape and is often paired with a nude lip.
I definitely find wearing dark liner on my lower lash line and water line quite challenging. It’s also really hard for me to stay away from the shimmer. I just want a bright inner corner highlight, and a shiny brow bone! But I sacrificed my shimmer! Just for you guys!
I actually only used two eyeshadow shades for this look. A warm brown and black in the outer corner. Then some black liner smudged in the upper and lower lash line. If you’re looking for an extremely classic smokey eye tutorial go check out Lisa Eldridge’s Classic Smokey Eye Tutorial.
I really appreciated all of your lovely response and requests on my Palette Madness post. Please feel free to let me know whenever you would like to see something in particular. Whether that be a particular makeup look, a makeup look using only one palette or a new product review. Just let me know, I’m here for you guys!
