One Wash Wonders

DSC_0007

Alright, let’s be honest, we all have those mornings where an extra five minutes in bed is worth simplifying your makeup routine. On those chilly mornings, when I can’t bring myself to leave the warmth of my bed, I always turn to my trusty “one wash wonders.” These are the shadows that are just easy to pop all over the lid and blend before they set. Once they set they will not budge all day which is what everyone wants!

Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze – This is just a fantastic cool bronze cream shadow. It’s very flattering and so easy to blend out. I really love that this shadow has a taupey undertone. I think this is great paired with a purple eyeliner. They compliment one another nicely.

Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in Game Face – This is an extremely intense liquid metal coppery shade. I mean if you want to look like you put effort into your makeup just put a wash of this all over the lid add a bit of liner and you’re set!

Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Eyeliner in Brown – These liners from Rimmel are so easily smudged out that I actually love to wear this all over the lid. It has a subtle shimmer running through it which looks really nice paired with a bit of mascara!

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Shadow Stick in Bad Girl Bronze – This shadow stick has a beautiful gold shimmer running through it. This is great all over the lid or just blended into the lash lines for a little bit of definition on those lazy days.

I hope you liked these drugstore options for those lazy days that we all have! What are the shadows that you turn to for a wash of color? If you’re running late what’s the makeup item you’re most likely to reach for? Let me know down in the comments!

Haha me neither! The Rimmel liners are really really good, their nude one is great for the waterline as well!

They’re just great for the days I am running late for work. I just think they make you look that much more polished which is nice.
