The Matte Palette You Need

MattePalette - 2

First, let me apologize that I am not posting a Makeup Challenge look today! Last weekend my boyfriend proposed (and I said yes, obviously!) and it was just a crazy busy weekend and I didn’t have time to shoot a makeup look! I’ll post two this upcoming week!

Now, I first mentioned The Nude Mattes Eyeshadow Palette in my Evening Fall Makeup Collaboration post which I will link here. I decided that this needed a post all to itself. No one talks about this palette and I honestly think it needs a mention.

This palette, my friends, is amazing. I am extremely critical when it comes to eyeshadows. They need to be soft and blendable while maintaining richness of pigment. These mattes are so creamy that I honestly can’t get enough. They’re perfect! Wayne Goss helped to formulate these and you can tell. They’re just a dream to work with.

There is only one shimmer in the palette and that is perfect to highlight the brow bone or the tear duct. The best part about this palette is the price. It’s $40. That may not sound cheap but look at the size of it! Also, Paula’s Choice is always doing 15% or 20% off so keep your eyes peeled for a coupon!

This product is simply quality. The brush that comes with it is actually great for packing shadows but I recommend something fluffier for the crease. I highly recommend this if you’re looking for some great matte shadows! My only quibble is the cardboard packaging but I mean we can’t have everything right?

Congratulations!!! I have to agree, for $40 that’s a really good amount of eyeshadow. If I didn’t already own so many matte neutrals this would be one to get1

It’s really nice because it has both warm and cool mattes. I find it really difficult to find good warm toned mattes. Thanks so much!

This looks really, really good! You’re the first person I’ve heard talk about this palette. You sure know how to sell it though, because now I feel like I HAVE to get this! I need some more warm-toned mattes!! I currently use a bronzer for that haha. Plus, you really can’t ever have enough matte neutrals. And congratulations on your engagement! So happy for you!!!!

I also wanted to add that I’m on Paula’s Choice right now looking at this palette and they have 20% off right now so it’s only $32! And they have cheap shipping ($2 for me)! I’M SO TEMPTED!
