You know that bright eyeshadow that you bought because it’s gorgeous but now you’re too terrified to actually wear? CRACK THAT BABY OUT! Not only was this look so much fun to create, I wore it all day without feeling like a clown (meaning no offense to clowns, a noble profession).
I decided to create a cut crease look with a bright magenta shadow packed on the mobile lid. I added winged liner and lashes just to boost the glam a bit.
You can honestly recreate this look with any shadow you want. I just love the contrast between the crease and the lid. I think it’s an interesting shadow placement and a way to use all the eyeshadows in your collection (not at once obviously, I mean you do you but that may be a bit much).
I kept the lips pinky so as to not overpower the eyes. I didn’t want to go too strong all over the place. I think this could be an awesome shadow placement for really metallic shades or glittery shades as well, just keep that cut crease nice and matte.
I used a gel liner because I’m terrible with liquid liner. I just can’t make it work. I look like a 2 year old using markers for the first time. I’m that person that starts with liquid and I’m like oh it’s a bit uneven here…now here…before you know it my eyes looks like black holes. So gel liner it is!
I finished the look off with some lashes (obviously, I am not so blessed as to have these lashes normally). And a shimmery white in the tear duct. Do you enjoy wearing bright eyeshadows? Tag me on Instagram if you create a Flash of Color look!
