A Fall Refresh

Fall Refresh - 1

With all the fall makeup looks going around I thought it would be fun to take a step back from the matte lips and dark eyes. Sometimes it’s nice to just feel fresh, especially on those crisp fall mornings.

I grabbed three of my favorite rosy drugstore items that just make me feel good when I wear them. And they don’t put a massive hole in my wallet so that’s also a plus.

Fall Refresh - 3

Revlon Color Stay Just Kissable Balm Stain in Honey – From the well worn packaging you can probably tell this is well loved. It’s very moisturizing and leaves such a nice stain. It’s a great work option because you don’t have to touch up often (or at all if you’re me…) and the color is so nice and rosy.

Essence Silky Touch Blush in Adorable – This is a great blush to pop on your cheeks when you feel like the cold weather is just stripping your skin of radiance. It has a slight shimmer so it will just perk up your face while adding that natural rosy glow.

L’Oreal la Palette Nude in 01 Rose – This is a fantastic pinky-purply palette available from the drugstore. It’s really fantastic quality! I love to use pinks and taupes all over the lid with a bit of purple on the lash line to just feel awake and fresh.

Which products in your stash make you feel alive and ready to tackle the day? Let me know down in the comments!

They really are wearable! I especially love the peachy shade.

    I love the Loreal palette!

Mine will have to be a good eyeliner or mascara, cuz I feel that’s what makes me look more awake. I tend to always go for nude or taupe toned eyeshadow, but now maybe I’ll give the rose shades a try.

Definitely give it a try! Yeah, mascara definitely helps to open the eyes!

That palette is gorgeous! I really love both the lippie and blusher, lovely colors to wear. I definitely feel my best when I wear either some bronzer or a neutral lip!

Bronzer really helps me look more alive as well! The smallest amount really does help!

Definitely give it a try! It’s so affordable!

      Thanks so much! You too!

Love these colors, they are my comfort colors. I’ve been curious on that palette but I can’t open it at the store (not without getting weird looks anyway) and I hate buying stuff without swatching it. Glad to see you liked this!

It’s really good. The mattes are really smooth and the shimmers have rich pay off!

I still haven’t tried L’Oreal palette. It would be perfect for a soft look. I want to try that Essence blush, they look so pretty! x

The Essence blush is awesome. Especially for the price it’s honestly a steal!

I’ve always wondered if those L’Oreal palettes were any good! I also need to pick up that Revlon balm stain! I always see people using that shade. I still want to try Essence blushes too. I see a trip to Ulta in my near future. 🙂 Love this post, girl! And I love your header! Is that new or am I just oblivious? Haha.
