Under Eye Duo

Under eye duo - 1

I’m definitely someone who thinks that less is more when it comes to under eye products. I like my face to have some natural depth so I don’t go too heavy when it comes to under eye concealing.

I like to deflect light and deflect shadows so that my under eyes seem a bit brighter without having to pile on the concealer. The Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer is definitely not full coverage and I wouldn’t use it to cover blemishes but I really love it under the eyes. It’s very light and creamy and it doesn’t crease into my little lines around the eyes. It deflects light really nicely without being shimmery.

I like to then set my under eye area with the Guerlain Meteorites Illuminating Powder Compact. Wow, high maintenance much? Yeah, well, what can I say. No judgement guys. I love using this powder to set my under eye concealer. It isn’t shimmery like a highlighter but it is so light and brightening!

What do you use to make your under eye area look awake and fresh? Concealer? Color Corrector? Sleep? Wite-out? (Please don’t use wite-out that really can’t be good for you! I am in no way suggesting anyone use wite-out! Just want to make that clear.) Are you of the opinion that less is more? Or a bring on the concealer kinda person? Let me know down in the comments!

The Guerlain Meteorites Illuminating Powder Compact sounds completely amazing. Expensive product though! Love these photos as well.

Yeah, it definitely doesn’t come cheap! If you just use it under the eyes it lasts a while! Thanks so much!

Meteorites for the win! I set my undereye concealer with Givenchy Poudre Premiere because it is super fine, but I love Meteorites on my cheeks! My dark circles aren’t VERY bad, so I tend to use a concealer and call it a day. When I want to be extra fancy, I add a light-reflecting pen (like Dior Skinflash) on top!

Oh I’ve wanted to try that! There is just something about the smell of Guerlain products I can’t get enough of! I love the way their products smell. I love light reflecting pens they’re so useful!

I definitely recommend it I haven’t found anything better. It just doesn’t look cakey or dry which I love!

It won’t give too much extra coverage but it really just lifts the circles it’s kind of amazing and sets the concealer! I really love it!
