My Favorite Nude Lipliners

DSC_0006 (1)

Lately I’ve really been enjoying wearing my nude lipliners with a bit of lip balm on top. It’s just such an easy, everyday option that is soft and pretty. I wanted to share the two nude lipliners I have been loving lately.

First let me say that I have very pink and pigmented lips. Finding something that looks good on my lips in the nude department while not venturing towards corpse land is pretty tough. These two just block out enough of that pink to be extremely flattering, especially with a smokey eye.

Rimmel Innocent – The formula of the Rimmel lipliners is one of my favorites. They’re creamy, long-lasting and non-drying. This is a very pretty cool-toned pink lipliner. It’s a unique shade that doesn’t have much brown pigment. I highly recommend it. My only complaint is the shape of the tip. I wish it had a rounded tip rather than a slanted one. I always end up breaking it. Maybe I’m just overzealous when I apply my lipliner, I don’t know!

No7 Precision Lip Pencil in Nude – This is just your classic nude lipliner. It’s just a bit warmer than the Rimmel Innocent liner and a bit deeper, more of a browny pink. This is a great pick if you’re worried about going too chalky. It’s a nice rich color that will just make you look polished. The color is great and the formula is fantastic!

What are your favorite nude lipliners? I am always looking for more recommendations so please let me know down in the comments!

I LOVE Rimmel lipliners! I have one in East End Snob (the one everyone raves about, lol), and it’s awesome! My lips are super pigmented too! Sometimes I even have to dab some foundation on them if I want to wear certain colors haha. I don’t know if that’s acceptable in the beauty world or not, but oh well, gotta do what you gotta do!

    • Ellen September 30, 2015 / 17:17

I have that one too! It’s great! That one literally makes my lips lighter than my natural lip color haha. Hey, you do you! I do the same thing sometimes if I’m going really nude. Or at least to fade the edges somewhat.

I’ve just realised whilst reading this that I’m lacking in the nude lipliners department, not just nude though pretty much all shades. So I will definitely be checking out Rimmel & No7 for these great options x

I always seem to overlook them when I’m shopping but they definitely have become essentials for me! Thanks for commenting 🙂

What great products! I tend not to wear lip liners with neutral lipsticks because I don’t feel like they bleed as much as darker colors, but maybe I should make the investment.

I really love wearing them on their own. They last very long! They’re always good to have 🙂

I’m in a similar boat, my lips are naturally quite pigmented and so I look quite dead quite quickly if I go too nude. I’ll definitely have to write down these two as possibilities to try out!

Love your choice!! I need to try them out! I use the pillow talk one from Charlotte Tilbury! I adore it but I have to sharpen it a lot and then it gets smaller and smaller soo fast :-O Which is definitely not worth it when it’s that expensive but I just love the color so much haha
