Evening Fall Makeup (Colab – Ravishing Roses)

AnaColab - 1

Ana from Ravishing Roses and I decided to do a collaboration based on Fall Makeup (the best kind of makeup!). She did a wonderful Daytime Fall look and makeup menu so definitely go check that out! I will link her blog here. Ana is really incredibly sweet and her blog is one of my favorites. Check her blog daily for makeup and beauty bits :).

I decided to show you all some of my favorite makeup items to create an Evening Fall makeup look. I love to wear a dark smokey eye in the fall while keeping the earthy tones the main focus. I like to use deep browns and taupes on my eyes to create depth, while using a goldeny brown to really amp up the shimmer.

These obviously aren’t products that I only use in the fall but I definitely am extremely drawn to them during the fall season. They’re very earthy and many of them are easy everyday options

Maybelline Color Tattoo in the shades Bad to the Bronze and Creamy Beige – These are fantastic for those days where you really can’t be bothered. I mean, I love putting my makeup on but there are always those days where you’re like you know what…screw it. Just smear these all over the lid and you’re good to go, I mean blend the edges but you know what I mean.

Naked 2 Palette – A classic that I use all throughout the year but I must say it really calls out to me in the fall. Snakebite is a warm shimmery brown and Busted is that deep brown that I love to use to create smokey eyes in the fall.

Scandeleyes Shadow Paint in Rich Russet – This is another one of those products that is just perfect for mornings where you can’t drag yourself out of bed. Or maybe you’re super excited to go and rake the leaves (I want to meet that person…). It’s a beautiful cool shimmery brown. It pairs very nicely with a blue based red lipstick!

Lorac Pocket Pro Palette –  This little gem is one of my most used palettes. The pewter shade is stunning swept all over the lid and espresso works well in the crease or as a liner. Also, the nude shade is light enough to use as a highlighter if you’re traveling and need to save space.

Burberry Wet & Dry Silk Shadow in Midnight Brown – This brown is so complex and lovely it’s just perfect for fall. It has a lot of depth and I love to pair this with just lashings of mascara. It’s so pretty and I promise it’s worth the price! Pair this with a matte true red lipstick and you’re set!

Paula’s Choice The Nudes Matte Eyeshadow Palette – Why does no one talk about this palette?! This palette is amazing. It is completely matte except for the pale pink which is a shimmer. The quality is impeccable, some of the best matte shadows I own. Paula’s Choice actually had help from Wayne Goss to create this palette. Wayne Goss is an amazing makeup artist (definitely check him out). These shades are just so autumnal and they blend like a dream. Buttery, autumnal, brown, taupe goodness. Love.

Now that I’ve bombarded you with eye choices let’s move on to the look I created! I chose to focus on eyes and lips because I couldn’t choose, HA! And what better time than fall to wear deep plums and burgundy lipsticks? If you saw my last post then you will have seen some of my favorite plummy lipsticks to crack out in the fall (I will link that here). I decided to go full on and use the Maybelline Colorblur and used my Naked 2 Eyeshadow palette for the eyes. Definitely a more evening inspired look!

What’s your favorite fall look? Are there any other eyeshadows I need for fall? Remember to go and check out Ana’s Fall Daytime Makeup!

Thank you! It’s the best little palette! The shadows are actually bigger in size compared to the big palettes which was a nice surprise.

I love this post so much! Your makeup looks incredible! I was literally just eyeing that Lorac Pocket Pro Palette the other day. Neutral palettes are my weakness haha. And now I need that Maybelline Colorblur! I’ve been hearing great things about those.

The Pocket Pro is really awesome! Yeah they’re really quite good honestly. I wish they were a bit more matte but blotting it helps!
