Burberry – The Luxury Item

Burberry - 2

Once in a while we all lust after a luxury item. Maybe you just finished finals or it’s your birthday (or it’s a Friday…no judgement) but a luxury item always seems to fit the occasion! From the packaging to the product it is just an experience in itself to open it and use it. It makes you feel good, right? I wanted to share one of my favorite luxury items that I have in my stash, I will do these once in a while just for fun!

The Burberry Wet & Dry Silk Shadow in Midnight Brown is one of those eyeshadows that you want to cry when you see it. Partly because of the price and partly because of how lovely it is. And how beautiful is that packaging? I mean, I just want to stare at it.

I have been using this for over 6 months and it barely has a dent. Does anyone else try not to ruin the design that’s pressed into the shadow? I’ve only been using the upper left hand corner because it’s just too beautiful. I find this to be the perfect eyeshadow to brush all over the lid. It has beautiful shimmer and it’s one of those shadows that looks like you’ve put more effort in than you actually have. Add a little bit extra in the crease and you’ve got an everyday, work appropriate smoky eye.

I included this shadow in my favorite fall items which I will link here. Yes the price is steep but look how pretty! I really love the quality and the color payoff of this shadow. Will you be picking up one of Burberry’s beautiful shadows? Do you have any of the other shades that you love? Any luxury items that have become staples? Let me know in the comments!

The price doesn’t seem too bad, especially seeing as how versatile it is! I love the design they etched in, I do that with my eyeshadows as well! Luxury items (or wishlist items) always seem to be the best after a difficult test or time!

What a lovely shade and I also love how they have embossed the signature check pattern onto the brick itself.

this eyeshadow is absolutely stunning! I completely understand not wanting to ruin the beautiful design (my mum has a few chanel eyeshadows I tend to borrow… a lot.) The colour seems so gorgeous and the packaging omg. Great post xx Sofia

This eyeshadow is absolutely gorgeous! I actually just bought the same color the other day from Burberry’s official website because Sephora had been all sold out of this shade and so many more! Definitely agree it’s a great Fall color!
